Both provincial recreation areas are little used, subject to vandalism and no longer considered commercially viable. Additional camping stalls will be added to nearby provincial recreation areas to compensate for the potential closure of these two sites. Information, a map on these proposals, and instructions for providing written or online comment are available at: www.tpr.alberta.ca/parks/consult The consultation period for these two sites will close on April 5, 2010. The Alberta Parks website will be updated once all comments have been considered and a decision has been reached.
